Privacy Policy
How Mohoh handles cookies, advertising and your data — in plain English.
Last updated: 13 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mohoh (“we”, “us”, “Mohoh.com”) handles information when you use our website and tools. We have built Mohoh to be privacy-friendly: the tools themselves run entirely in your browser, and we do not ask you to create an account or submit personal information to use them.
The short version
- Everything you type into a Mohoh tool (names, lists, questions, passwords, options) stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
- We show ads (Google AdSense and partners) to keep the site free. Ad providers may use cookies.
- We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are popular.
- You can control cookies through the banner and your browser settings.
Information we collect
Information you enter into tools. Mohoh’s tools are client-side. The text and options you enter are processed locally on your device to produce a result. We do not collect, transmit, log or store that content.
Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics may collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate region (from your IP address), referring page and the pages you visit. This helps us keep the site secure and decide which tools to improve.
Local storage. We may store a small preference in your browser’s local storage (for example, to remember that you dismissed the cookie banner). This never leaves your device.
Cookies and advertising
Mohoh is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense and may use other advertising partners to display ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Mohoh and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
Your choices under GDPR (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete or restrict its processing, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Because Mohoh does not collect personal information through its tools, most requests will relate to advertising and analytics cookies. Where required, we and our advertising partners rely on a consent mechanism for personalised ads. You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the banner or your browser settings. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected].
Your choices under CCPA/CPRA (California)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Mohoh does not sell your personal information for money. The use of advertising cookies by our partners may be considered “sharing” under the CPRA; you can opt out using the advertising controls linked above or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children’s privacy
Mohoh is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Data retention and security
Because the tools do not transmit your input, there is nothing for us to retain from them. Standard server logs and aggregated analytics are kept only as long as needed for security and product improvement. We take reasonable technical measures, including HTTPS encryption across the whole site, to protect the limited data we handle.
Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
