The team randomizer focuses on splitting people into a set number of balanced teams. The group maker adds a second mode — fixed people per group — which is handy for breakout rooms, car-pools or ‘tables of four’.
Are the groups fair?
Yes. Names are shuffled with your browser’s secure random generator before being dealt out, so the split is genuinely unbiased and different every time you press the button.
What happens to leftover people?
When the numbers don’t divide evenly, extra members are spread across the earliest groups (in ‘number of groups’ mode) or form a smaller final group (in ‘people per group’ mode).
