A handy month reference
Each draw is uniform, so every month has an equal 1-in-12 chance. If you're using the result for scheduling, remember the practical differences: February is short (28 days, 29 in a leap year — years divisible by 4, except centuries not divisible by 400, so 2000 was a leap year but 1900 wasn't), while January, March, May, July, August, October and December have 31 days and the rest have 30. Example: assigning "deep-clean" chores to random months, you land on February — pair it with a lighter task since the month is shorter.
